Killing Cockroaches Using Chemical Dusts

Have you ever seen thousands of roaches scuttling for cover when you turn on the kitchen light in the middle of the night? Shocking right? Well, let’s look on the bright side: now you know for sure you’ve got to take action and start killing the creepes that are invading your house.

One way that helps you killing cockroaches is using chemical dust. In fact, if applied properly, dust is even longer-lasting than misting pesticides.

It takes just a slight breeze to blow away dust, so the best thing to do is to add a little boric acid to the dust. It will also help the dust to adhere to the roaches’ legs. What happens next is that the cockroach cleans itself and become poisoned. A great and clean way for killing cockroaches.

There is danger in using dust if you have pets. Just make sure the dust is not applied to a place that is frequented by your pets. It can and will make them sick too. For smaller pets dust can be as deadly as it is to cockroaches.

Let me tell you a little trick when using dusk. Cockroaches can live without food for weeks, but they can not live without water. Therefore, the best place to put dust is around a source of water. Make sure it’s the only source available and your cockroaches will come. In order to drink the water, they’ll have to walk up to the bowl and contaminate their bodies. End of story. Unless the cockroaches you are dealing with aren’t immune to the kind of dust you are using…
